Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad, a brand synonymous with powerful mobile products and services, launched its new supplementary postpaid 1+3 Plan today. Maintaining the pioneer status in innovative telecommunications, Celcom is the first service provider in Malaysia to offer Free Voice calls, Free SMS, Free MMS and Free Video Calls within a family group, at a super low monthly fee of only RM5.00 per supplementary line.
Commenting on Celcom's new 1+3 Plan, Dato' Sri Shazalli Ramly, Chief Executive Officer of Celcom (Malaysia) Berhad, said, "We all know that family is priceless. Recognizing this fact, Celcom has designed the perfect supplementary plan for our customers, allowing them to stay connected to loved ones, and to always keep them close, for free."
"This is in line with our commitment in understanding our consumers, meeting their needs and growing with them while building loyalty and affinity with the Celcom brand and its range of products," stressed Dato' Sri.
Customers who are parents and are currently using a Celcom Postpaid plan will now be able to subscribe to the new 1+3 Plan, and share it with their loved ones to enjoy free unlimited Voice and Video calls, SMS, and MMS amongst themselves.
All subscribers of the existing Minutes Postpaid Plan are eligible to subscribe to the 1+3 Plan and can signup for up to three supplementary lines under one principal number. In addition to that, Celcom will also be offering a limited-edition Black Ice or Red Ice hand phone for free, to customers who subscribe to the C250 Minutes Postpaid Plan ten months in advance.
Calls (voice and video) and SMS placed by supplementary line users to numbers outside of the family group will be charged at RM0.30 per minute and RM0.10 per SMS respectively for all networks flat nationwide. MMS within the same network are charged at RM0.35 and other networks at RM0.50. The principal Minutes Postpaid Plan user will continue to enjoy the current rates of their existing plan for all services.
Registration can be made at all Celcom branches and appointed retailers nationwide.
Celcom has 6.2 million customers and over 270,000 3G subscribers. It has the widest network of any mobile network operator in the country, covering 97 per cent of the country.
